We are interested in studying gene regulatory mechanisms in orchestrating lineage determination of human embryonic stem cells. In collaboration with Dr. John Yu (Institute of Cellular and Organismic Biology) and Dr. Hsin-Fu Chen (National Taiwan University Hospital), we are looking at transcription factors contributing to direct germ cell fate specification, with emphasis on studying gene expression profiles, RNA-protein interaction, protein-protein interaction and epigenetic modification during germ cell development.
